Volume VIII · Stories of Joy and Hope
The Star in the Window

It was only a few days until Christmas. Outside it got dark early, and coloured fairy lights twinkled in the windows of the flats. The stairwell smelled of cozonac, the sweet Christmas bread, and of oranges. In the children’s room, gold paper, scissors and ribbons were waiting on the table.
The story continues in volume VIII, “Stories of Joy and Hope”: told in full, illustrated, with everything that follows it.
