ABOUT US
Stories that bring us closer
Light Between the Pages began with a simple wish: that family evenings would once again have a story read together. A story that teaches children kindness, forgiveness and trust in God, not through long sermons but through events they remember.
What you will find in the books
- Eight illustrated volumes: the parables of Christ, miracles from the Gospel, stories from the Old Testament, lives of saints (including the saints of Romania), teachings from the Desert Fathers, fables and new stories for hard times.
- Every story is told twice: briefly, for little ones (ages 4–7), and in full, for children from 8.
- After each story: what it teaches us, a thought for older children, questions for a family conversation, a short prayer and a good deed to try that week.
- The parables and Bible stories are retold for children, with references to Holy Scripture. The lives of the saints and the teachings of the Desert Fathers follow the tradition of the Church.
How you receive them
The books are PDFs, in English or Romanian, or in both languages. After payment you receive them straight away by email and can read them on a phone or tablet, or print them at home. Every book opens with a dedication page bearing the name you choose and, if you like, your own handwritten message. That makes it a lovely gift for a baptism, a name day or Christmas.
You can get the first volume, “The Parables of Jesus”, free, to see what the books look like before you choose.
